Blesta SMS Notify Installation

Using Blesta SMS Notify Module you can use multiple providers within one module to sent out the SMSnotification about different service activities like Order received, Hosting account created/suspended/terminated etc.

Installing BlestaSMS/ Blesta SMS Notify:

  1. At first download & unzip our module from our website then upload our messengers all files to this location: /blesta installation/components/messengers/blestaSMS.
  2. To install the BlestaSMS messenger, visit [Settings] > [Company] > [Messengers] > Available, and click the "Install" button for Blesta SMS Notification" .
  3. A message will be displayed, indicating that the messenger was successfully installed. Then click the "Manage" button. Enter the det
  4. Then From Blesta Admin > Messengers > Messenger Configuration > select "Blesta SMS Notification" from the dropdown & hit Update Settings.
  5. Now you need to configure SMS Provider, go to Blesta Admin > Messengers > Installed & click "Manage" button & do provider configuration as per below instructions. Don't forget to insert the license key.
  6. Global and Local: You can specify 2 different providers, whereas for local you can specify the country codes separated by comma or otherway around.
  7. For auth info field the value needs to be in below format: {"filedname":"your_apikey","filedname":"Your Sender ID"} for field values / ames check the below table. Example for SMSTo: {"apikey":"your_apikey","sender":"Your Sender ID"}

Here are the authentication credentials for the available providers. Please select the provider you would like to use.

SMSTo Installation Example:

SMS.to: In our example we will setup smsto as our global provider.

  • Visit: https://sms.to & if you don't have an account with them then create an account here: https://sms.to/register with all your information.
  • Then add some fund in your account by billing up billing information.
  • From sms.to Account > Settings, you can setup all basic details along with "Sender ID" if you already have a Sender ID verified for any country then you can use this id & it will show while sending SMS to users, at not resigered country it will show SMS.to as Sender.
  • Now from sms.to left menubar click "API Clients" & Generate API key by whitelisting your IP.
  • Copy the API key & input it in your Global Provider section in our Messenger Module. However, it will be like this:
  • Provider Name (Global)? - smsto
  • Auth Information (Global)? - {"apikey":"your_apikey","sender":"Your Sender ID"}
  • Note: replace "your_apikey" & "Your Sender ID" with your own information.
  • Now, hit "Update Settings", Great you setup one SMS Provider already & ready to use it.
