The Phone Verify & Validate module provides an additional layer of fraud detection for the orders you receive. By confirming and validating phone numbers, this module helps ensure that the customer information is accurate, minimizing the risk of fraudulent transactions. This enhances your overall security and increases the reliability of your order processing system.
Overview
With the Phone Verify WHMCS module, when you define a Phone Validation provider, it will verify the mobile number during checkout. This process will automatically select the country and make the field uneditable for users. After signing up, users will receive an OTP for SMS-based verification based on the chosen provider. Until their mobile number is verified, users can only open a support ticket. Once verified, the number field will be disabled, preventing any edits.
If the provider supports the sendMessage functionality, you can manually send an SMS to users who may have forgotten to verify their number in time. You can easily add API keys on the module page, allowing you to select your preferred provider and enter your credentials. You can also add, edit, or delete providers and their data, as well as manually verify or unverify a number and delete it if needed.
Additionally, if your preferred provider is not listed, we offer a custom development kit with samples to help you integrate your own provider.
